Doug Fiedler is a well-traveled food-and-beverage and training executive. His worldwide projects have included strategic and tactical solutions to difficult business problems. He specializes in strategy development, people development, and process analysis. Client services include customized strategic plans, training development and delivery, SOP development, food and beverage creativity, and customer-service training.
Prior to joining RTS, Fiedler held several executive leadership positions with Avendra, the hospitality industry’s leading procurement services firm. In these roles, Fiedler helped increase Avendra’s purchasing power from $1.1 billion to over $2.5 billion and driving customer satisfaction.
Fiedler held several strategic leadership roles with Marriott International. These included leading the marketing effort for Marketplace by Marriott and overseeing Marriott’s global catering sales and service operations for all brands. Fiedler has trained thousands of Marriott employees around the world.
Fiedler has worked with some of the most prestigious companies in the world, including United Airlines, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Marcus Hotels and Resorts, HEI Hotels, Great Wolf Resorts, Marriott International, Phillips Foods, Foster’s Wine Estates Americas, Transcend Creative Group, Audi of America, Jackson Dawson Communications, and Mercedes-Benz USA.
Fiedler is a graduate of Michigan State University’s School of Hospitality and is active in his family’s church, his children’s schools, and Boy Scouts of America.
