Andy Simpson is a design and development executive with a talent for creating concepts that maximize sales through flow, function and customer appeal. His expertise includes design, concept relevance, construction, and project management. He has undertaken more than 300 restaurant projects in his 25-plus years in the industry.
Andy has also been a unit manager, franchise training manager, franchise business consultant, and has held director and vice president-level positions in architecture, design and construction variously for Redstone American Grill, Famous Dave’s and Steak Escape. He has also lead the creative development of several concepts, including prototypes for Famous Dave’s of America, Chevy’s Fresh Mex, Steak Escape and, most recently, Bennigan’s.
These projects in addition to numerous consulting jobs give him a unique perspective when it comes to balancing operational needs with design creativity.
